The single largest variable is not your flight, it is the flight the aircraft makes to reach you. An operator with an aircraft already near Singapore, or one due to reposition this way, prices well below one flying in empty from several hours away. That is the first thing worth checking on any date you can move.
After positioning, the things that actually move the number are the aircraft size the sector needs, whether crew duty limits force a second crew or a night stop, and the handling and permit costs at both ends.
