Global air ambulance booking facilitation. ICU-equipped fixed-wing aircraft and medical helicopters operated by licensed third-party medical aviation providers. Available 24×7 for emergency and planned missions.
MeghQuasar coordinates the complete medical aviation mission across operators, aircraft, ground transfer and documentation. Coordination includes:
MeghQuasar does not provide medical services. Medical care is provided by the operating air ambulance provider's flight medical crew. MeghQuasar does not guarantee medical outcomes. See Section 6 of our Terms.
Provided by the operating air ambulance provider. Specialist equipment confirmed at booking.
Multi-mode transport ventilator with redundant oxygen supply.
12-lead ECG monitoring with integrated defibrillator and external pacing.
Multiple infusion pumps with operator-supplied medication formulary.
Spinal-stable patient transfer stretcher with immobilization gear.
Time-critical medical evacuation when condition deterioration risk demands rapid transfer. Same-day dispatch when aircraft positioned in region.
Scheduled inter-hospital transfers, repatriation, organ-transport coordination. 24-72 hour lead time typical.
Cross-border repatriation including India ↔ GCC, India ↔ Europe, GCC ↔ South-East Asia. Includes customs, overflight permits, FBO handling.
Ground ambulance + hospital handoff at both ends. Single point of contact through MeghQuasar from intake to arrival.
Standard inclusions on the operator-issued quote. Specialist requirements confirmed at intake.
Aircraft, medical crew, equipment, fuel, standard insurance, FBO handling at both ends, and ground transfer coordination. Specialist equipment, atypical medications, customs/overflight permits, and family-passenger seating are itemised separately on the formal quote.
Same-day dispatch is achievable when an aircraft is positioned at the origin region — typically 2 to 6 hours from booking confirmation to wheels-up. Cross-border missions with overflight permit requirements need 12 to 48 hours minimum.
Hospitals, treating physicians, family members, employers, insurers, and corporate travel desks. Medical authorisation and insurance pre-authorisation (where applicable) is the requestor's responsibility.
It depends on the policy. International medical insurance with evacuation cover often reimburses; standard domestic health insurance in India typically does not. We provide an operator-issued itemised invoice that supports insurance claim submission.
Patient name and condition summary, treating-physician contact, departure and destination hospitals (or city + nearest airport), preferred date/time, number of accompanying family/caregivers, and any specialist equipment requirements (e.g., balloon pump, isolette, ECMO).
Usually yes — most air ambulance jets accommodate one to three accompanying family members in addition to the patient and medical crew. Helicopter capacity is more limited; confirmed at booking.
